About The Position

TCI RENTAL AND LEASING is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic with an expert touch and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 4+ years of experience in diagnosing and repairing various vehicle systems. This role involves working on powertrains, engines, transmissions, cooling systems, accessories, hydraulic systems, suspension, steering, and electrical systems, including advanced diagnostics for components like ADAS, SCR, and DPF. The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $34.02 - $38.52, depending on skills and experience, and operates on a Monday through Friday shift from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM. Requirements

3 to 4+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
Minimum of 4 to 5+ years of Diesel Engine Repair experience.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
Self-motivated with leadership skills.
Available for On Call Rotation.

HVAC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair systems including, but not limited to: Powertrain, motor, and transmission.
Perform overhead tune-ups.
Service cooling systems.
Repair engine accessories such as alternators, belts, AC systems, air compressors, fuel pumps, and power steering.
Service injectors, harness seals, and hydraulic systems.
Repair PTOs, pumps, and plumbing.
Service driveline components.
Repair suspension systems including airbags, shocks, and leaf springs.
Service leveling valves and air systems.
Repair differentials and driveshafts.
Service steering systems including Pitman, draglink, tie rod ends, assembly, kingpins, and axle seals.
Repair bearings and axle seals.
Service HVAC systems (certification preferred), including AC and heat.
Repair electrical systems, lights.
Diagnose and repair ADAS, SCR, DPF, and DEF systems.
Perform diagnostics on sensors and harnesses.
Conduct computer diagnostics using Incite, Tech Tool, and Diagnostic Link.
