About The Position

TCI RENTAL AND LEASING is looking for experienced Diesel Mechanics with an expert touch and attention to detail. This role involves inspecting trucks and trailers to DOT standards and diagnosing and repairing various vehicle systems. We offer a competitive hourly wage based on skills and experience, with a standard work week of 40-50 hours, including rotating on-call duties and flexibility for different shifts to accommodate customer needs. Requirements

4 to 5+ years of Diesel Engine Repair experience.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
Self-motivated with leadership skills.
Must be available for On Call Rotation.

Nice To Haves

HVAC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Inspect trucks and trailers to DOT standards.
Diagnose and repair powertrain, motor, and transmission systems.
Perform overhead tune-ups.
Repair cooling systems.
Service engine accessories including alternators, belts, AC systems, air compressors, fuel pumps, and power steering.
Repair injectors, harness seals, hydraulic systems, PTOs, pumps, and plumbing.
Service driveline components.
Repair suspension systems including airbags, shocks, and leaf springs.
Service leveling valves and air systems.
Repair differentials and driveshafts.
Service steering systems including Pitman, draglink, tie rod ends, assembly, and kingpins.
Repair axle seals and bearings.
Service HVAC systems (certification preferred), including AC and heat.
Repair electrical systems, lights, ADAS, SCR, DPF, and DEF systems.
Diagnose sensors, harnesses, and filters.
Perform computer diagnostics using Incite, Tech Tool, and Diagnostic Link.
