Requirements

• Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine
• Be eligible to obtain applicable security clearance(s)
• Eligibility to Work in Canada

Nice To Haves

• Experience with heavy cleaning machinery is preferred
• Motivation and a willingness to work + learn
• Strong time management skills in order to ensure all work is completed by the end of shift
• Ability to take initiative to determine and complete necessary tasks, even with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of WHMIS is not required, but considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Ability to use and operate industrial and or heavy cleaning machines and equipment; some are but not limited to: scrubbing and sweeping machines, carpet extractors, leaf blowers, pressure washers etc. is Required
• Ability to working outside in all weather conditions is required
• Disinfecting all high touch point areas
• Sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming
• Cleaning building common areas, hallways, lobbies, bathrooms, kitchen etc.
• Collect and dispose of trash in garbage containers on a regular basis
• Spot cleaning walls, ceilings, partitions, light switches and window sills, door glass
• Scrubbing, mopping, heavy sweeping, cleaning of light fixtures and replacing bulbs, and general maintenance duties confined under the Janitorial Industry
• Enhanced cleaning as per work orders when requested by clients
• Additional tasks assigned by Manager
