About The Position

Knight Transportation is Hiring! We need a Heavy Duty Body and Paint Repair Technician to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. Experience with diesel equipment preferred but not required. If you are hardworking and ready to make a difference, we want to hear from you!

Requirements

• 1+ Years of Body Repair Experience or comparable education
• Valid Drivers License
• Comprehensive background check
• Pre-Employment Hair Drug Screen (Marijuana is a disqualification of employment)

Nice To Haves

• Experience with diesel equipment preferred but not required
• Experience in fiberglass repair, paint/paint refinishing, plastics, and panel replacement preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and CSA Regulations
• Experience with on-the-job training
• Diploma in vehicle maintenance from vocational or trade school a plus
• Possess customer service & computer skills
• Ability to read & understand repair manuals
• Ability to multitask & work as a team
• Must possess the tools required to accomplish the essential job results required

Responsibilities

• Perform bodywork repair with minimum supervision
• Perform troubleshooting on minor problems
• Ensure proper care of company tools/equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Maintain a positive & proactive work environment
