Heavy Diesel Technician/Mechanic - Night Shift

We currently have an opening for a Mechanic in Juneau, Alaska. This is a full-time position offering family-friendly benefits, a competitive pay package, professional growth opportunities, and ample overtime. The night shift hours are 3:00pm to 3:00am Monday through Thursday and include a $3.00/hr. shift differential.
Requirements
- Carry out all duties with a strong commitment to excellent customer service.
- Ability to show up to work on time and ready to work.
- Detail oriented, good communications and interpersonal skills and good organizational skills.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50-pound objects and is occasionally required to lift as much as 100-pound objects.
- Ability to travel for short periods of time and able to work in outside weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Provide maintenance on heavy-duty equipment, ie: tractors, trailers, forklifts, etc.
- Assist with major component swaps like hydraulic pumps, engines and transmissions.
- Must be able to apply and be issued a TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Card).
- Perform inspections in compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations.
