About The Position

Timberline Construction Group is seeking an experienced Underground Utilities Foreman to lead water, sewer, and related utility work. You will supervise a crew of approximately 4-6 people, provide hands-on support in the field, and coordinate daily activities with the project Superintendent. This is a travel position. Your first project will be in Sevierville, Tennessee, with future assignments based on project needs.

Requirements

At least five years of field experience as a foreman, including experience leading underground utility crews.
Strong knowledge of water and sewer installation, trenching, pipe materials, and utility construction methods.
Ability to read plans, organize crews, and communicate clearly with the Superintendent and field team.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Willingness to travel for project assignments.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Nice To Haves

A CDL is preferred.

Responsibilities

Plan and direct underground utility installation, trenching, pipe laying, backfill, and related earthwork.
Lead the crew in the field and provide hands-on support when needed.
Coordinate work around existing utilities and ensure installations meet plan, grade, and project requirements.
Monitor production, quality, and schedule; resolve field issues promptly.
Coordinate equipment, materials, inspections, and upcoming work with the Superintendent.
Enforce trench safety and other jobsite safety requirements.
Complete daily timesheets, progress reports, and as-built documentation.
