This position is an on-campus, full-time, tenure-track appointment based in Champaign, Illinois covered by the Parkland Academic Employees (PAE) collective bargaining unit. The starting salary range is between $49,454.18 - 74,616.65, commensurate with certifications, years of teaching experience, and education received. The Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Electrical Program Faculty work in conjunction with the department chair and other faculty to advise and mentor students and participate in governance of their departments and the college. Tenure-Track Faculty teach a full-time load as per the Parkland Academic Employees (PAE) bargaining agreement. Courses taught may include: Basic Air Conditioning, Basic Heating, Installation, Service Level I, Service Level II, Trade Computations, Ductwork Fabrication, Residential Wiring, Motors, Controls and Drives, entry level construction courses that include HVAC and electrical, as well as programs designed for high school students participating in Early College and Career Academy (ECCA).
