Heat Treat Technician (Annealer)
About The Position

This role involves working with powerful equipment, maintaining precision, and ensuring products meet quality standards. You will control the heat, the timing, and the quality of the aluminum. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Forklift experience
- Comfortable with basic math and measurement tools
- Able to read work instructions and document accurately
- Basic computer skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Nice To Haves
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Heat treatment or furnace operation experience is a bonus
Responsibilities
- Build furnace loads by matching recipes, tempers, and weights
- Safely load and unload coils using a forklift
- Set and monitor furnace and air temperatures
- Install thermal couplers and wire up loads
- Monitor soak temperatures and document results
- Transfer finished coils to cooling areas
- Complete production reports and paperwork
- Support quality systems and continuous improvement efforts
- Cross-train and jump in to help at the Rolling Mill when needed
