The Heat Treat Operator is responsible for operating CNC lathe and/or milling machine. This role involves loading and inspecting parts, changing offsets and tooling. The Heat Treat Operator position ensures parts are heat treated through an induction heat treat process. Work is performed in a manufacturing setting, requiring standing and walking on concrete floors throughout an 8 to 12 hour shift. Responsibilities include frequent handling of metal parts weighing 1 to 5 pounds, visual inspection, occasional bending or reaching, use of hand tools, and applying up to 50 lbs. of force to move heavy loads on wheels.
