About The Position
The Heat Treat Operator is responsible for operating heat treating equipment to harden and temper steel parts, ensuring the quality of the finished product by following established procedures and conducting tests to meet specifications. This role requires monitoring equipment, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor. This is a safety-sensitive position.
Requirements
- MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A DRUG TEST AND REGULAR DRUG TESTING! WE DO NOT ACCEPT ANY THC / MARAJUANA
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of heat treating processes and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) through the entire shift.
- Ability to be aware of surroundings for safety concerns.
- While performing duties of this job the employee will be required to frequently stand on their feet for extended periods of time. Occasion stooping and walking will be required.
