About The Position

This position is for 3rd shift. The Heat Treat Operator will operate heat treating equipment to harden and temper steel parts, following established procedures to ensure the quality of the finished product. Responsibilities include conducting tests to ensure parts meet specifications, monitoring equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This is a safety-sensitive position.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of heat treating processes and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) through the entire shift
• Ability to be aware of surroundings for safety concerns
• While performing duties of this job the employee will be required to frequently stand on their feet for extended periods of time. Occasion stooping and walking will be required.
