About The Position

The Heat Treat Helper will be responsible for applying stencils, paint, and stamps to drill pipe according to standard operating procedures. This role requires maintaining a clean work area, performing all duties safely in accordance with company safety and quality procedures, and providing assistance across multiple Heat Treat lines. The position also involves performing basic equipment maintenance, cutting test samples for the Met Lab, and filling in for Operators as needed. The role may require working in adverse weather conditions and standing for up to 12 hours.

• Basic computer skills required

Responsibilities

• Apply stencils, paint and stamps to drill pipe in accordance with standard operating procedures
• Maintain a clean work area
• Perform all duties in a safe manner in accordance with company safety & quality procedures
• Provide assistance at more than one Heat Treat line
• Perform basic maintenance on equipment
• Cut test samples in accordance with shop order to send to the Met Lab.
• Fill in for Operators as needed
• May work in adverse weather conditions
• Must be able to stand for up to 12 hours.
