About The Position

This entry‑level role provides hands‑on training in heat treat and straightener processes, including pipe stamping and stenciling. A helper performs basic duties, develop valuable technical skills, and contribute to a safe, efficient production environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to read and follow basic technical instructions.
• Strong interest in manufacturing and metal processing.
• Good hand‑eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Willingness to learn pipe stamping and stenciling techniques.
• Commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE use.
• Basic math skills for measurements and documentation.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliability and punctuality in a shift‑based environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled operators with heat treat and straightening equipment.
• Learn and perform pipe stamping and stenciling tasks.
• Prepare work areas and materials according to standard procedures.
• Monitor equipment for proper operation and report any abnormalities.
• Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
• Follow all safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Support material handling, including loading and unloading of pipe sections.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and team meetings.
• Help keep the work area clean and organized.
• Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment.
