Requirements

Must be a Notary Public or become a Notary Public within three (3) months of employment.
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

Nice To Haves

An Associates Degree in Communication Disorders or related field or the equivalent knowledge or experience is preferred.
A minimum of two years related work experience is preferred.
A minimum of one year of clinical experience in Audiology is preferred.
Clinical experience working with infants and their families is also preferred.

Responsibilities

Administer universal hearing screenings as part of the routine newborn care.
Document results of these screenings.
Assist in compiling a database of all screening results.
Enter all screening results into the Electronic Birth Certificate (EBC) and update EBC as needed.
Responsible for the coordination of the per diem hearing screeners, taking into consideration weekend, vacation, holiday coverage, and sick calls.
