About The Position

NationsBenefits is hiring a Hearing Instrument Specialist/Audiologist for its Hearing Center in Pueblo, Colorado. The role evaluates patients’ hearing aid candidacy, recommends and fits hearing aids, and builds relationships through education, follow-up care, and community engagement. The position is based in a retail clinical environment that offers professional autonomy and operational support. NationsBenefits is a healthcare fintech provider of supplemental benefits, flex cards, and member engagement solutions. It partners with managed care organizations and health plans to deliver healthcare solutions intended to improve outcomes, reduce costs, and support member health and satisfaction.

Requirements

Current Audiology license or Hearing Aid Dispensing license in the state of the role.
Strong clinical, counseling, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear, patient-friendly manner.
Comfort working in a retail healthcare setting.
Commitment to ethical practice and patient-focused care.
Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations using best-practice clinical protocols.
Interpret test results and recommend individualized hearing care solutions based on patient needs and lifestyle.
Clearly present product options, emphasizing value, long-term benefits, and patient outcomes.
Program, fit, and verify hearing instruments, including premium technology from major manufacturers.
Perform routine follow-up visits, cleanings, adjustments, and hearing aid repairs.
Maintain accurate and compliant patient records, including documentation and outcome measures.
Deliver service that supports patient satisfaction, loyalty, and positive clinical outcomes.
Collaborate with leadership and peers to support center performance and continuous improvement.
