About The Position

The Department of Vermont Health Access (DVHA)'s Health Access Eligibility & Enrollment Unit (HAEEU) is seeking a Healthcare Services Support Specialist I to join the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Team. This role supports changes within systems used by other HAEEU teams by researching and testing systems used by the public and other teams within HAEEU. The team offers scripted scenarios to assist with new changes implemented. The mission of DVHA is to improve Vermonters' health and well-being by providing access to high-quality, cost-effective healthcare, with priorities in advancing value-based payments, modernizing IT infrastructure, and operational performance improvement. Requirements

  • No education or experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a customer service or call center environment.
  • Ability to use computer programs or experience with data entry, or the ability to explain policies/procedures or rules/regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Knowledge and understanding of changes within the system.
  • Research, test and problem solve within systems for Siebel, Portal, or Eligibility, providing scripted scenarios when HAEEU receives information system change or updates.
  • Tracking of the four-person team's work to detect resolution and successful deployment and assisting in the development of job aids.
  • Acting out work directly with vendors impacting both the front end and back end of the systems used with specific projects currently underway.
  • Reconciliation of the different systems to ensure all data aligns with the health exchange and our carrier partners.
  • Working closely with other HAEEU teams.
