About The Position

As a Healthcare / Hospital Security Officer, you help keep patients, visitors, and staff safe in a hospital setting. You’ll patrol buildings and parking areas, control access and check IDs, respond to alarms and emergencies, de-escalate difficult situations, assist visitors, and complete simple reports. Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Ability to obtain a CT security license
Good communication and customer service skills
Able to stand, walk, and respond quickly in emergencies
Bring a resume and a valid ID

Retail, food service or hospitality industry background
