About The Position
The Healthcare Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Duties include monitoring activity, conducting patrols, and responding to incidents as needed. Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.
Requirements
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced environments
- Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic
Nice To Haves
- Healthcare security experience preferred, but not required
- No experience necessary!
- If you have retail, food service or hospitality industry background you are a great fit for this role; if not, we will provide you with the training and everything you need for a great introduction to a career in the security industry.
