As a Security Guard Healthcare Operations in Ventura, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Must be able to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be willing to work in a hospital environment that may include morgue areas.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to supervisors, local authorities, and/or designated personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, directions, and/or entry procedures while following location protocols for restricted and patient care areas.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and/or maintenance or security-related concerns, and report issues that could impact staff, patients, visitors, and/or operations.
