About The Position

We are seeking a motivated Healthcare Research Intern to serve as a shared resource supporting OsiLIFE and corporate business development. This role focuses on high-priority healthcare research, leveraging emerging AI tools to map provider landscapes and community resources. The intern will play a key role in monitoring Rural Health Transformation Programs and organizing critical research assets.

Requirements

• A stated interest in pursuing a career path within the healthcare industry.
• High level of comfort with AI tools and proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Teams and SharePoint).
• Strong written and verbal skills; ability to read and interpret state-specific health regulations.
• High initiative, dependability, and the ability to "own" projects with fluid or ambiguous requirements.
• Ability to deal with a variety of variables in research where standard data may not be available.

Responsibilities

• Identify doctors by specialty and locate general healthcare resources in specific geographic areas.
• Analyze population demographics and identify non-health community resources in rural areas to support outreach.
• Utilize specialized AI tools to filter research data and collaborate with the IDTG team to improve AI effectiveness.
• Perform geographic and cultural analysis of state-level Rural Health Transformation Programs.
• Organize and improve the storage logic for research and application materials within Teams and SharePoint.
• Assist in gathering data for partnerships and direct program applications.
