About The Position

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney interested in a sophisticated healthcare practice involving healthcare regulatory counseling, transactional matters, compliance, and strategic business issues for healthcare providers, health systems, physician groups, investors, and other organizations throughout the healthcare industry.

Requirements

• 2–6 years of healthcare regulatory, healthcare transactional, or related experience
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
• Georgia bar admission required or ability to become admitted
• Strong legal research, drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple sophisticated matters and deadlines
• Excellent client service and communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience with healthcare regulatory matters involving the Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, HIPAA, and other federal and state healthcare regulations

Responsibilities

• Advising hospitals, health systems, physician groups, healthcare providers, healthcare companies, investors, or other industry participants
• Advising clients regarding licensure, compliance, reimbursement, fraud and abuse, and healthcare business arrangements
• Conducting healthcare-specific regulatory due diligence in connection with corporate transactions
• Supporting healthcare M&A, joint ventures, affiliations, investments, and other strategic transactions
• Identifying and analyzing regulatory issues arising in sophisticated healthcare transactions
• Drafting and negotiating transaction documents, healthcare agreements, physician arrangements, management agreements, and other commercial contracts

Benefits

• Compensation $180,000 – $300,000+
