About The Position

MGA Homecare is seeking a dedicated Healthcare Recruiter to join our team. This role is crucial in identifying and onboarding qualified healthcare professionals to provide quality homecare services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing candidates to negotiating offers, and will also play a role in scheduling and customer service for both clients and field staff. We are committed to building meaningful relationships with our patients and their families, and our recruiters are key to ensuring we have the right team in place to deliver exceptional care.

Requirements

  • Ability to interview applicants and analyze responses.
  • Ability to verify references and compare qualifications to job requirements.
  • Experience with placing job advertisements on various platforms.
  • Skills in salary negotiation.
  • Ability to manage schedules and assist with time and attendance issues.
  • Understanding of client confidentiality.
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call schedule.
  • Customer service skills for clients and external employees.
  • Professional representation of the company.
  • Adherence to dress code.
  • Punctuality and adherence to scheduled work times.
  • Adherence to all company policies and procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in healthcare recruiting.
  • Familiarity with healthcare roles such as RN, LPN, LVN, CNA, LHA, Attendant Care, HHA, OT, OTA, PT, PTA, SLP.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit new candidates and manage current field staff.
  • Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, and verifying references.
  • Compare qualifications to job requirements.
  • Attract applicants by placing job advertisements on websites and other sources.
  • Negotiate salaries with candidates/external employees.
  • Complete requested schedules for staff, pending authorization.
  • Assist with external employee’s time and attendance issues.
  • Verify time sheets against schedule.
  • Adhere to client confidentiality.
  • Rotate shifts as part of the on-call schedule.
  • Schedule new admissions, giving non-clinical information to caregivers.
  • Manage client’s care schedules.
  • Provide customer service to both clients and external employees.
  • Perform all other duties assigned by the Recruiting Manager.
  • Support and execute the mission, ethics, and goals of the company effectively.
  • Represent themselves in a positive and professional manner in the company and community.
  • Adhere to dress code with a clean and neat professional appearance.
  • Report on time and as scheduled to complete work within the designated time.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures outlined in Employee Handbook, Employee Agreement, or communicated from the executive team.
