Healthcare Program Manager: Greensville Correctional Center
About The Position
The Healthcare Program Manager is accountable for the governance, alignment, assurance, management, integration, optimization, tracking, finances, infrastructure, planning, and improvement of health care activities and services at Greensville Correctional Center. The role oversees scheduling, ordering, and technical performance of organizational programs; participates in proposal development, contract negotiations, and contract compliance; and ensures master health care plans and schedules are followed. The manager develops solutions to program challenges and directs others to complete projects and programs successfully, on time, and on budget. Assignments to other duties or locations may be necessary to meet the Department’s clinical and administrative needs.
Requirements
- Knowledge of healthcare administration and management.
- Demonstrated ability to oversee multiple projects and/or programs and their resources to accomplish the facility’s strategic healthcare needs.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and lead and direct the work of others.
- Significant prior work experience planning and organizing the activities of a large and/or complex medical unit.
Nice To Haves
- Advanced knowledge of public health, health services, or business administration practices.
- Considerable experience working in the healthcare field.
- Demonstrated leadership experience or advanced knowledge and understanding of supervision and management practices.
