Healthcare & Medical Malpractice Associate Attorney
About The Position
Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking attorneys to join its Healthcare & Medical Malpractice Practice in its Orange County, CA office. The ideal candidate will be admitted to practice in California and have 1-7 years of experience representing healthcare providers in state and federal courts and administrative proceedings. Experience defending and litigating medical malpractice lawsuits is preferred. Lewis Brisbois represents a wide range of healthcare providers and handles medical malpractice actions in numerous specialties. The firm's healthcare practice is one of the largest in the country with over 200 attorneys. Qualified candidates will be comfortable with discovery, pleadings, motions, and depositions. Strong writing and analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, and the capacity to work independently and as part of a team are essential. While healthcare law experience is preferred, the firm is also interested in talented attorneys with excellent litigation skills in any arena, a demonstrated interest in healthcare law, and a desire for growth in a collaborative firm.
Requirements
- Admitted to practice in California
- 1-7 years of experience representing healthcare providers in state and federal courts and administrative proceedings
- Strong writing and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Substantive litigation experience
- Demonstrated interest in healthcare law
