About The Position

The Healthcare Intake Processor is responsible for receiving, interpreting, and processing inbound documentation and data from multiple sources/programs (payors, vendors, clients, patients). This role ensures accurate data entry, proper document handling, and timely routing of information into patient and program files. This role requires independent decision-making and the ability to support intake operations.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
Effective organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in toggling between systems and databases.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to remain calm and focused in high-volume or fast-paced environments.
High level of accountability for adherence to policies and procedures.
High school diploma required.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree in a healthcare-related field preferred.
Experience in healthcare administration, document management, or data entry preferred.
Familiarity with medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

Receive and process inbound documentation via fax, electronic upload, or other methods.
Accurately enter data into proprietary systems and patient files.
Review documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with program requirements.
Route documents to the appropriate department, program, or team member.
Maintain KPI expectations for timeliness, accuracy, and quality assurance.
Monitor and respond to incoming requests and inquiries through multiple systems.
Collaborate with team members to resolve document discrepancies or incomplete submissions.
Abide by HIPAA guidelines to ensure confidentiality of PHI.
