About The Position
Tallahassee State College (TSC) is seeking a full-time Healthcare Instructor to join the Division of Workforce Development. This role is responsible for teaching Healthcare programs, creating an effective learning environment, and staying current with industry regulations. The ideal candidate will be dependable, responsible, independent, self-starting, and able to engage with a diverse student population.
Requirements
- Must be a Registered Nurse (RN-Bachelors) with at least 5 years of expertise in the field or a minimum of three years of experience as a certified teacher in a healthcare program.
- All applicants will be required to submit to a criminal background check.
Responsibilities
- Provides instruction for the Workforce Development Healthcare Programs.
- Teaches Healthcare programs operating within Workforce Development.
- Creates an ideal learning environment.
- Maintains an appropriate balance of discipline.
- Transfers knowledge to students.
- Stays abreast of evolving regulations within the industry.
