About The Position
As the Healthcare Executive Chef, you will lead the culinary operation and oversee all food production, menu development, purchasing, and culinary programming for a high-profile hospital in Vero Beach, FL. Requirements
- 5+ years of culinary management experience, preferably in a high-volume environment
- Strong high-volume production and catering experience
- Proven experience managing food costs, labor, inventory, and overall financial performance
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
- Passion for culinary innovation and delivering an exceptional dining experience
- Desire to grow and build a long-term career with a leading foodservice organization
Nice To Haves
- Culinary degree or formal culinary training preferred
- Healthcare culinary experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all culinary operations, ensuring exceptional quality, consistency, and presentation
- Recruit, train, develop, and inspire a high-performing culinary team
- Create innovative, nutritious, and appealing menus tailored to the healthcare environment
- Manage food purchasing, inventory, product quality, and vendor relationships
- Drive food and labor cost controls while maintaining high culinary standards
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements
- Lead the implementation of innovative culinary programs and initiatives in partnership with the culinary and marketing teams
- Support catering and special events while maintaining a high level of service and execution
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, culinary excellence, and continuous improvement
