About The Position

Milliman’s Medicaid Finance and Policy Practice is hiring a Healthcare Data Analyst to provide analytical support for healthcare provider payment transformation engagements. Projects may involve reimbursement methodology design, rate setting, and program funding strategies for provider services such as hospitals, physicians and other practitioners, nursing facilities, behavioral health, and home and community-based services. The role involves analyzing healthcare data, developing and evaluating data models, conducting Medicaid policy research, and preparing technical documentation and client materials. Initially, the position does not include client-facing responsibilities, though successful team members may later have opportunities to manage projects, work directly with clients, mentor or manage colleagues, or pursue a combination of these paths. The position is remote; being located in Seattle or Chicago is a plus. Milliman’s Medicaid Finance and Policy Practice serves state Medicaid agencies and organizations affected by Medicaid reimbursement and funding, and is affiliated with the broader Medicaid Consulting Group of more than 600 professionals.
