About The Position

Seeking a Senior Data Analyst with experience in business and data analysis, including leading JAD sessions, eliciting requirements, and documenting business processes and analytical findings. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL skills with the ability to develop and execute complex queries and joins, perform data quality analysis, and translate business needs into actionable insights. Experience designing dashboards, KPIs, and performance measures to support data-driven decision-making is required. Understands business objectives and problems, identifies alternative solutions, performs studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives. Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer system: Confers with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements, such as forms of data input, how data is to be; summarized, and formats for reports. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer program. Reviews computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system.

Requirements

  • 8 years of experience in IT, supporting the design, development, or delivery of technology solutions.
  • 8 years of experience with Integrated Eligibility systems, including full SDLC involvement (requirements through implementation).
  • 8 years of experience in business analysis and data analysis.
  • 8 years of experience conducting JAD sessions, eliciting requirements, and documenting business processes and data analysis findings.
  • 8 years of experience using SQL, including the ability to create and execute complex joins.
  • 8 years of experience analyzing data quality.
  • 8 years of experience designing dashboards, including measures and KPIs.
  • Must be LOCAL TO THE AUSTIN AREA ONLY (Within 50-mile radius).
  • Candidates must already reside in Texas.

  • 4 years of experience with the Texas Integrated Eligibility Redesign System (TIERS).
