About The Position

This is an internship opportunity for a Healthcare Data Analyst. The role involves assisting in the gathering, structuring, and analysis of large and complex datasets to identify patterns and trends, particularly in healthcare claims analysis for billing opportunities. The intern will also help develop and enhance dashboards and reports, create professional presentations of data, automate report delivery, and perform data integrity checks. Responsibilities include running reports from databases, preparing spreadsheets, and utilizing AI for SQL query building.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science or Business
• 0-3 years’ experience (Healthcare/Medical background a plus); no experience required
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Sufficient written and verbal skills
• Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail
• Must be able to problem solve and adjust priorities with little advance notice to meet deadlines and requests
• Basic proficiency in SQL, ability to use AI to build SQL queries
• Basic proficiency in PowerBI
• Understanding of statistics

Responsibilities
