Location: Healthcare Clinic: 8152 Northumberland Hwy, Heathsville, Va Shift: Monday - Friday, 5:30pm - 7:30pm

Requirements

Compliance with mandatory influenza vaccination policy.
Documentation of current influenza vaccination is required for all candidates.
Dependable and punctual with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Previous janitorial or custodial work, particularly in healthcare sanitation.
1-2 years of janitorial or custodial experience in a healthcare or hospital setting.
Knowledge of proper cleaning and disinfection techniques.
Understanding of infection control practices.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Physical fitness for demanding tasks and ability to lift 50lbs.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English.
Strong active listening skills to follow safety protocols accurately.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming in designated areas.
Clean and disinfect restrooms to ensure a high standard of hygiene.
Maintain cleanliness in lounges, waiting rooms, lobbies, and other public areas.
Clean and sanitize offices, conference rooms, and corridors regularly.
Ensure windows and glass surfaces are streak-free and clear.
Pay special attention to high-touch surfaces to prevent the spread of germs.
Empty and dispose of trash according to established procedures.
Clean and sanitize exam rooms, nursing stations, labs, pharmacies, and clinics.
Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, reporting shortages as needed.
Follow protocols for handling and disposing of biohazardous materials.
Report maintenance issues or repair needs promptly.
Adhere to infection control policies and procedures.
Collaborate with staff and departments to maintain an efficient working environment.
