About The Position

LumiMeds is seeking a licensed healthcare professional to create engaging social media content focused on metabolic health, GLP-1 medications (like tirzepatide and semaglutide), and the role of compounded medications in modern wellness. This is a non-clinical role where you will be the on-camera voice, translating complex scientific and pharmacological information into clear, accurate, and audience-friendly explanations. You will collaborate closely with the social media manager to ensure all content is medically accurate, regulatorily compliant, and genuinely useful. The ideal candidate is a skilled educator, communicator, and creator who is comfortable on camera and understands the distinction between education and promotion.

Requirements

  • Active, unrestricted U.S. license as a Licensed Pharmacist (LP), Nurse Practitioner (NP), Registered Nurse (RN), Physician Assistant (PA), MD/DO, Registered Dietitian (RD), or equivalent licensed healthcare professional.
  • Clinical knowledge of GLP-1 receptor agonists (tirzepatide, semaglutide), including mechanism of action, indications, contraindications, side effects, and patient counseling points.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics.
  • Comfortable appearing on camera (presence and engagement are key, polish is not required).
  • Willingness to work within FDA marketing compliance constraints (training will be provided).
  • Reliable home production setup including a phone camera, adequate lighting, and a quiet space.
  • Professional-level English communication skills.
  • Availability to work U.S. business hours.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct clinical experience with patients on GLP-1 therapy (counseling, dispensing, prescribing, or care management).
  • Existing social media presence in the healthcare or wellness space, particularly with educational content.
  • Familiarity with compounded medications and 503A/503B regulatory frameworks.
  • Background in obesity medicine, endocrinology, primary care, or metabolic health.
  • Experience working with marketing or brand teams in a regulated healthcare context.
  • Spanish or Tagalog fluency.
  • Video editing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Create 4–8 short-form educational videos per month (15–90 seconds) for platforms like Instagram Reels and TikTok.
  • Develop content on topics such as the mechanism of GLP-1s, tirzepatide, differences between brand and compounded medications, the meaning of metabolic health, common patient questions, and advice on consulting providers.
  • Translate clinical concepts into plain-language explanations while maintaining accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on monthly content calendars and topic prioritization.
  • Work with the compliance reviewer to ensure content adheres to FDA marketing guidelines for compounded medications.
  • Provide light medical/clinical review for other team-created content as needed.
  • Stay updated on FDA guidance, GLP-1 research, and compounded medication regulations.
  • Cover topics related to longevity and women's HRT therapies.

Benefits

  • Content stipend for lighting, mic, and any production needs.
