Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service or call center environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly across all departments and to patients.
  • Time management skills for phone calls.
  • Ability to multitask in a high call volume call center.
  • Strong aptitude in the use of computer applications.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Capability to navigate computer applications while speaking with patients.

Responsibilities

  • Answering incoming phone calls, triaging to the appropriate party or managing patient needs.
  • Managing appointment requests from the website.
  • Registering patients into the practice management system.
  • Navigating provider schedules to book new or follow-up appointments.
  • Understanding and applying scheduling rules to meet provider team expectations.
  • Operating computer and its applications effectively to fulfill job duties.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by their supervisor.
