The coordinator plays a crucial role in maintaining the quality of infusion services by identifying and reporting patient issues to clinicians and coordinating the appropriate delivery methods for uninterrupted patient care. They also work with medical records technicians to obtain lab work and generate work orders, labels, and shipping documents under pharmacist supervision.
