About The Position
Barnes & Thornburg LLP seeks an Associate for our Healthcare department in the firm’s Columbus Office. The ideal candidate will have 1-4 years of healthcare transactional and regulatory experience. The right candidate for this position will be entrepreneurial, eager to work directly with partners and clients in the healthcare industry, and excited to be part of a team handling a busy national healthcare practice.
Requirements
- 1-4 years of healthcare transactional and regulatory experience.
- A mix of healthcare related transactional and regulatory experience.
- Working knowledge of the Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute.
- Strong academic record.
- Excellent analytical, writing and communication skills.
- Ohio bar membership or eligibility to waive into the Ohio bar.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with transactions involving private equity funds or portfolio companies.
Responsibilities
- Handle a busy national healthcare practice.
- Work directly with partners and clients in the healthcare industry.
