Community Health Network was created by our neighbors, for our neighbors. Over 60 years later, “community” is still the heart of our organization. It means providing our neighbors with the best care possible, backed by state-of-the-art technology. It means getting involved in the communities we serve through volunteer opportunities and benefits initiatives. It means ensuring our dedicated caregivers can learn and grow to stay at the top of their fields and to better serve our patients. And above all, it means exceptional care, simply delivered — and we couldn’t do it without you. Over the course of three years, students can expect to gain proficiency in 46 healthcare industry competencies in areas such as patient care, clinical support, safety and quality, and professional collaboration and teamwork. Students will obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Students will also be completing dual-credit courses, such as Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology, and Introduction to Psychology. Upon successful completion of the Healthcare Assistant apprenticeship, students will earn the Employment Honors Plus Seal and an industry-recognized Healthcare Assistant Certificate, which will allow them to be hired immediately in the healthcare industry, as well as giving them opportunity to pursue further education and training in healthcare.
