About The Position

Valley View Hospital is offering a High School Apprenticeship for current high school students entering their senior year, with graduation in May 2027. This program allows students to gain paid, hands-on experience at the hospital or a VVH medical facility while potentially earning high school credit. It provides a unique opportunity to start a healthcare career before graduation, complete online certifications, and earn money. Apprentices can leave school early on scheduled workdays. The program offers career exploration to help students identify their preferred healthcare field. Upon high school graduation in May 2026, apprentices are eligible for part-time or full-time employment with VVH.

Requirements

• Must be a current high school student entering your senior year.
• Must be graduating in May 2027.
• Must be eligible to work part-time or full-time after high school graduation in May 2026.

Responsibilities

• Gain paid, hands-on experience at Valley View Hospital or a VVH medical facility.
• Complete online certifications.
• Explore different areas of healthcare to determine career interests.
• Potentially receive high school credit for the apprenticeship.
