About The Position

As a Healthcare & Life Sciences (HCLS) Value and Transformation Lead for Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will serve as a force multiplier for both AWS Worldwide Public Sector (WWPS) Healthcare & Life Sciences business (internal) and mission-driven customers served (external). You will learn, contribute, and grow by serving as a frontline partner in delivering results and velocity to value for customers at varying levels of cloud maturity, a builder of repeatable mechanisms/frameworks that enable impact at scale, and a trusted strategic advisor to inform prioritization and focus decisions for the business. You will have the opportunity to align your expertise and experience across three core functional areas: Customer Transformation, Strategic Engagement, and Strategy. The Customer Transformation function works with Sales, Executive Advisors, and Industry Business Development to engage select customer C-suite leaders with tailored offerings, ranging from foundational visioning to comprehensive strategic collaboration. The Strategic Engagement function collaborates with Sales, Executive Advisors, and Marketing to lead cross-cutting engagements that activate multiple customers, raise brand awareness, capture customer voice, inform new solutions, and serve as forums for customer collaboration. The Strategy function is responsible for developing and facilitating execution of multi-year strategies and initiatives informed by market trends and analysis, delivering on strategic WWPS HCLS priorities, and allowing Sales and Industry Business Development functions to look around corners. This includes creating shared understanding, articulating vision and mission, charting roadmaps, prioritizing mechanisms and investments, and creating content such as thought leadership, white papers, case studies, use cases, pilots, proofs of concept, and demonstrations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Experience selling enterprise software or cloud-based applications
  • Experience in written and verbal communication with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to executives and non-technical leaders
  • Experience conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences
  • Experience in ownership of projects and communicating timelines and executing independently

  • Master's degree in business, data science, public administration, finance, engineering, human resources, or related field, or PMP certificate

Responsibilities

  • Engage select customer C-suite leaders with tailored offerings, from foundational visioning to comprehensive strategic collaboration.
  • Work with customers to ideate, co-design, prioritize, and deliver on a diversified innovation pipeline.
  • Manage collaborative creation of internal/external documents to present opportunities and investment proposals to leadership teams and other stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-cutting engagements that concurrently activate multiple customers, raising brand awareness and capturing customer voice.
  • Inform new solutions and refinements to existing AWS offerings through customer engagements.
  • Serve as forums for customers to connect and collaborate on best practices.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams, including leadership, subject matter experts, marketing, and partners, in the end-to-end production and facilitation of engagements.
  • Develop and facilitate execution of multi-year strategies and initiatives informed by market trends and analysis.
  • Deliver on strategic WWPS HCLS priorities.
  • Create shared baseline understanding, including synthesis of voice of customers, emerging trends, and industry and competitor landscape.
  • Articulate aligned vision, mission, and decision-making tenets.
  • Chart a shared roadmap alongside strategic growth levers.
  • Prioritize mechanisms and investments required to translate strategy into action.
  • Create content to help customers better understand the value of AWS/Amazon offerings, including thought leadership, white papers, case studies, use cases, pilots, proofs of concept, and demonstrations.
  • Identify cross-cutting opportunities that can serve multiple customers.
  • Build customer references and use cases to support future engagements.
