About The Position
Tallahassee State College (TSC) is seeking a part-time Healthcare Adjunct Instructor for the Division of Workforce Development. This role involves providing instruction for the Workforce Development Healthcare Programs, creating an effective learning environment, and transferring knowledge to students while staying current with industry regulations. The ideal candidate will be dependable, responsible, independent, self-starting, and able to interact with a diverse student population.
Requirements
- Must be a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant with at least 2 years of experience in the field.
- OR a minimum of three years of experience as a certified teacher in a healthcare program.
- Must submit to a criminal background check.
Responsibilities
- Effectively teach the Healthcare programs operating within Workforce Development.
- Create an ideal learning environment.
- Maintain an appropriate balance of discipline.
- Transfer knowledge to students.
- Stay abreast of evolving regulations within the industry.
