Health & Wellness Specialist (On-Site EMT/Medic)
About The Position
JobSiteCare, a physician-led company transforming healthcare on construction sites, is seeking a proactive Health & Wellness Specialist (On-Site Medic) to support the safety and well-being of jobsite workers. This role involves injury prevention, on-site medical support, and coordination with clinical teams. The specialist will work independently in the field, backed by a supportive clinical team. Key responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, administering first aid, providing guided treatment under provider direction, supporting comprehensive case management through follow-ups and referrals, fostering trusting relationships with patients and providers, serving as a resource for psychosocial support using a peer support model, leading proactive injury prevention initiatives like "stretch and flex" programs and ergonomic coaching, accurately documenting patient interactions in the EHR, maintaining the on-site medical facility, and collaborating with jobsite safety teams.
Requirements
- High school or equivalent education
- BLS, CPR, First Aid required.
- 3–4 years in emergency, occupational, military medicine, or similar field
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to walk the jobsite for up to 5 hours daily.
- Ability to lift 25-50 pounds.

Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments, administer first aid, and provide guided treatment under provider direction.
- Support comprehensive case management through patient follow-ups, referrals, and ongoing care coordination.
- Foster strong, trusting relationships with patients, on-site staff, and healthcare providers to ensure optimal care and communication.
- Serve as a resource for psychosocial support, applying a peer support model to assist site personnel.
- Lead proactive injury prevention initiatives, including “stretch and flex” programs and ergonomic coaching.
- Accurately document patient interactions and care in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Ensure the on-site medical facility remains clean, organized, and fully stocked with essential supplies.
- Collaborate with jobsite safety teams by supporting orientations, trainings, and additional assignments.
