We are seeking a Health and Wellness Benefits Manager to join our innovative and evolving Benefits Team, where they will help shape a best-in-class employee benefits experience within a leading global law firm.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of experience managing U.S. health and wellness benefit programs, preferably in a professional services or complex organizational environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. benefits compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience working with benefit brokers, carriers, and third-party administrators.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Experience with law firms or partnership-based benefit structures.
  • Strong project management or change management experience.
  • Proficiency with HRIS and benefits administration systems; Workday experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • CEBS or other relevant benefit certification preferred.
  • Experience supporting wellness initiatives and employee well-being programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and administer the firm’s U.S. health and welfare benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, wellness initiatives, life insurance, disability, flexible spending accounts (FSA), health savings accounts (HSA), leave of absence, workplace accommodation requests and related programs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for U.S. benefits vendors, brokers, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee annual benefit renewals, vendor negotiations, plan design evaluations, and cost-containment initiatives.
  • Evaluate plan performance using data analytics, benchmarking, and trend analysis to recommend enhancements aligned with firm culture and market competitiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations, including ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, and other benefits-related requirements.
  • Partner with payroll, finance, and HRIS teams to ensure accurate benefit enrollment, deductions, and data integrity.
  • Manage benefit communications, including open enrollment materials, plan documents, employee education sessions, and wellness campaigns.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance and issue resolution for employee benefit questions, escalations, and complex cases.
  • Support audits, reporting, and benefit governance activities as needed.
  • Supervise benefit team members or oversee outsourced administration partners.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance employee experience, streamline processes and strengthen vendor accountability.
