The ED features multi-disciplinary care teams and state-of-the-art technology to diagnose and treat patients effectively, 24/7 and includes an Intensive Care Unit (ICU), an emergency and acute care unit, 46 treatment rooms and 24 observation rooms. As a Health Unit Coordinator in the ED, you will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service to patients, families, visitors, and other caregivers to promote and support positive patient experiences. Health Unit Coordinators perform general secretarial and clerical duties, such as preparing and placing charts, stamping documents, gathering and organizing data, completing physician orders and answering call lights. A caregiver in this role works nights from 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.
