Cleveland Clinic's G101 Transplant Specialty Care Unit is a 34-bed unit that specializes in kidney, pancreas, liver, and intestine surgeries while also providing supportive services to transplant patients and their families. G101 values their positive, team-oriented and supportive culture, optimistic mindset and daily huddles to ensure communication and collaboration across day and night shifts.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One year of experience in a customer service-related role
  • Experience with typing, computer training or equivalent coursework

Nice To Haves

  • College degree
  • Microsoft Office experience

Responsibilities

  • Conduct an in-person greeting, welcome and orientation to the unit for newly admitted and transferred patients.
  • Respond to patient call lights and make rounds.
  • Assist with processing patient admissions, transfers and discharges.
  • Assist patients and families with wayfinding and direct them to available resources.
  • Assemble and maintain patient medical records and other documents related to patient care.
  • Assist with unit clerical functions and in trouble-shooting equipment failures, such as call system, portable phones, WOWs and other unit devices.
