About The Position

As the Health Services Professional (HSP), your primary role is anything related to the medical supports of participants in our programs. This includes ensuring routine and non-routine medical appointments are scheduled, medical paperwork is processed and documented in electronic records, and any needed follow-up to medical appointments is scheduled and completed. You will be the primary point of contact with participant’s medical providers and facilitate the sharing of information from medical providers to staff and teams. You will also ensure medical supports are compliant with Kentucky regulations. Hours are generally Monday through Friday (8:30 am - 5:00 pm), with some planned travel to other Dungarvin Kentucky office locations (Florence, Louisville, Prestonsburg). Requirements

  • Experience working with individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Strong Computer Skills, focusing on documentation
  • Willing to travel to additional Dungarvin Kentucky office locations
  • Person-centered, patient, and kind

  • 18 years or older
  • A successful background clearance is required as part of the onboarding/employment process

Responsibilities

  • Ensure medical paperwork is processed and documentation is put in electronic records.
  • Ensure any needed follow-up to medical appointments is scheduled and completed.
  • Be primary point of contact with participant’s medical providers and facilitate the sharing of information from medical providers to staff and teams.
  • Ensure medical supports are compliant with Kentucky regulations.
