About The Position

Topeka Presbyterian Manor is seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for night shifts. The role involves providing direct nursing care to residents and supervising the daily nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. This position operates within the framework of current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing the community, ensuring the highest degree of quality care. The LPN is expected to prioritize the resident's needs, viewing the community as the resident's home and modeling person-centered care.

Requirements

• Must be a graduate of an approved LPN Program.
• Must possess a current license to practice as an LPN in this state.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures.
• Knowledge of laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care.

Nice To Haves

• Previous geriatric nursing/long-term care experience is a plus.
• I.V. Certification is a plus.
