About The Position

The Health Science Instructor develops curriculum and teaches health sciences to high school students with varying learning styles. The instructor also checks in on students participating in advancement placement and apprenticeships.

Requirements

• Hold a current, active Ohio Board of Nursing Registered Nurse license with no restrictions or board actions.
• Possess or be able to obtain an Ohio Career-Technical license in Diversified Health Occupations.
• Possess or be able to obtain within one year of appointment a STNA/CNA Coordinator certificate.
• Have appropriate work experience in the field of Health Sciences.
• Have two years of nursing experience and one year of long-term care experience.
• Be a CPR/First Aid Instructor.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Arts degree preferred.
