About The Position

TJX Canada is seeking a Health and Safety Manager, Field (Western Region) to lead Health & Safety initiatives across Western Canada. This role involves partnering with operational leaders to reduce risk, drive compliance, and improve safety performance in their Stores. The successful candidate will provide expert guidance, analyze safety trends, support incident prevention efforts, and translate safety programs into effective store execution. Additionally, they will lead training and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen TJX Canada's safety culture. This is an opportunity for a collaborative safety professional experienced in a dynamic, multi-site retail environment who enjoys influencing positive change.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of Health & Safety experience in a multi-site operational environment
• Proven ability to influence and partner with Regional and District Leaders to drive Health & Safety performance.
• Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting data, identifying trends, and recommending actionable solutions.
• Ability to translate Health & Safety programs, policies, and legislative requirements into practical store execution.
• Experience conducting risk assessments, audits, and compliance verification to identify and mitigate risks.
• Strong communication and coaching skills, with experience guiding leaders through incident investigations and corrective action planning in a fast-paced operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide regional H&S leadership across multiple provinces, ensuring consistent execution of corporate programs and expectations.
• Use data and risk indicators to prioritize visits, audits, validations, and targeted interventions.
• Partner with operations, HR, LP, and Facilities leaders to strengthen safety culture, support change adoption, and address emerging risks.
• Lead regional assessments, audits, and serious incident support, escalating systemic issues as needed.
• Support provincial inspector visits through preparation, participation, and follow‑up.
