Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in safety, health and environment
  • 0-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Learning mindset and exceptional interpersonal, coaching, written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient in computer software applications, use of AI, and media technologies

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging new hire EHS orientations and facilitate monthly compliance training sessions.
  • Take ownership of key programs within our comprehensive Environment & Safety Management System (ESMS).
  • Oversee critical programs such as 3rd party audiometric testing and the safety footwear initiative.
  • Develop colleagues' understanding and skills in various safety and environmental aspects, including the application of Human and Organizational Performance (HOP) leadership principles.
  • Facilitate frequent EHS self-assessments, identify areas for improvement, and meticulously track corrective action plans.
  • Support the EHS Manager with essential environmental inspections, reporting, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Partner with various business functions to ensure EHS considerations are integrated into all change management processes and contribute to special projects.
  • Provide crucial support during regulatory inspections and assist in addressing any complaints.
  • Assist in the thorough analysis of significant incidents (e.g., fires, chemical releases, severe injuries) and help implement robust corrective actions.
  • Provide backup support to the EHS Manager on security-related matters as needed.
