This position is a 1 year (12 month), 32-40 hours per week position

Requirements

• Current student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in an environmental or occupational safety related field OR be an April/May 2026 graduate of one of those programs

Nice To Haves

• Completed classes in equipment lockout/tagout, chemical safety, and OSHA/EPA

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all requirements of Valeo Group are identified, established and implemented
• Check that safety and security equipment are in compliance with requirements
• Carry out risk analysis and monitor regulatory survey
• Help establish the site “Health, Safety, Security and Environment” operation procedures and oversee their application
• Carry out inspections and internal audits, make recommendations and specify corresponding actions as well as the responsibility for implementing it
• Assist in implementing and monitoring action relating to the handling of any non-compliance revealed by the inspections, internal audits and external audits, taking the necessary investments into account
• Be aware of developments in the legislation.
• Update and complete Safety Data sheets, plus ergonomic and PPE assessments
• Review and update Safety and Environmental work instructions
