About The Position

Compliance Management International (CMI) is seeking a Regional Health & Safety Consultant / Trainer for the Greater Philadelphia Region. This hybrid, client-facing, full-time role involves delivering engaging safety training, conducting workplace assessments, developing safety programs, and serving as a trusted safety resource for clients across various industries. The position offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities to solve real-world safety challenges and help organizations protect employees, improve safety performance, and navigate OSHA requirements.

Requirements

• Approximately 5+ years of occupational health and safety experience, particularly in training, hazard identification, compliance, or safety program development.
• Experience delivering safety training to adult learners.
• Working knowledge of OSHA General Industry requirements.
• The ability to identify workplace hazards and recommend practical corrective actions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Confidence working directly with clients, supervisors, managers, and employees.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• The ability to work independently while collaborating with a consulting team.
• A professional, responsive, customer-focused approach.
• A valid driver's license is required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health or a related field
• OSHA 501 – Trainer Course in OSHA Standards for General Industry
• CSP, ASP, CHST, CSHO, or similar safety credential
• Additional OSHA, BCSP, NFPA, industrial hygiene, environmental, or safety training credentials are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging instructor-led and virtual safety training for client organizations.
• Conduct workplace safety assessments, inspections, and hazard evaluations.
• Help clients develop and improve practical, compliant safety programs.
• Prepare professional reports that clearly identify findings, corrective actions, and recommendations.
• Serve as a trusted safety resource for clients across a variety of industries.
• Manage client assignments, training schedules, reports, and project deliverables.
• Develop customized training and safety solutions based on client operations and workplace hazards.
